200-Acre Electric Vehicle Park Coming Up in Sitarampur, Telangana
Telangana state is set to witness its first Electric Vehicle Expo in December
The organizers Rajeev Arora and Anuj Sharma have planned to organise it the next year too. Telangana has plans to become a 100% electric vehicle state and has introduced policies to enable it. Any vehicle from any category which is 100% electric and is being registered in the state of Telangana receives a 100% exemption from Road Tax.
Telangana is also setting up a 200-acre electric vehicle park and will also be inaugurating an Energy Storage Park soon to provide infrastructure for building batteries, solar cells, and more. The electric vehicle park is targeted towards MSMEs, incentivising them to set up their manufacturing units in Telangana and develop them into an electric vehicle manufacturing hub for India.
