SAP Industry Future Forum: Accelerating Digitalization for Discrete Industry

All segments within the Discrete industry looked at operational losses and delivery shocks due to labour shortages, supply chain disruptions, and logistical barriers. There were impacts in market capitalization of several industry sectors due to COVID-19, which in turn impacts the Discrete industry across the value chain, especially in the areas of workforce, top-line growth, and bottom-line savings, and through to the supply chain network and manufacturing.

In this industry-focused session, SAP offered assistance during the time of uncertainty, to help respond to the areas which present different challenges during each horizon – preparation for recovery, as well as reimagining readiness in the future.
